Brandon Lawrence has a pretty good track record with picking
weekly records. He has Villanova over our Brooks. 27/21.. Lets
hope he's wrong on this one..

interestingly, the writer gave no justification to support a
Nova turnaround this weekend, only cited their previous failings
this season, and the fact that they are coming off a bye week.
I just dont see a Nova win this weekend. I think our D is going
to stymie their offense. and unless Nova can pull out a few
more trick plays, like the fake punt they ran against BC in the
first game, I think it will be a long afternoon for Nova fans.

saw that video. reminds me of sort of a fumblerooski.
id have to think that shutting out URI and holding Buff to a
mere 10 points in regulation, is a pretty good defense.
im thinking our first home tailgate will involve cheeseboro
sammiches!!!

i dont know about you guys, but I am not too keen on the new
football website for the school. I thought it would grow on me,
but i hasnt. some of my issues:
Roster: when you click on the Roster tab, it should immediately
display the roster. instead it take you to a screen with
Wolfie, and you have to click on that picture to get to the
roster. makes no sense
Football home page: now, instead of scrolling through the news
updates like it used to, when you go to football home page, it
give you a static football picture. You have to then hit the
News tab to get any new info on the program. seems like the
home page for the football should be a news page that gives you
the latest info on the program
Shedule Tab: when you hit this tab, you can only view the
'remaining schedule" for the season. you then have to go over
the Quick Links to view the entire season schedule. again, this
makes no sense.
anyway, those are my gripes for the day. ???

agreed, its harder to use.
i also noticed that about the football page. and the schedule
tab. i went to ESPN instead. that cant be what they want.
another gripe- not enough discussion on the upcoming conference
tilt!!!

You sure you not missing a plugin or something. This is the best
website yet IMO. It makes everything simpler for me. You hover
the mouse over the "Sports" tab (On top) and then you get the
option to choose the sport of interest, or the roster you like
to view.... and bang... it takes you straight there (this also
goes for schedule and News). Fast, easy, and with two clicks you
are at the roster
make sure you have all the traditional plugs in like Java, Adobe
Flash, etc

I agree. I think V is a little banged up but so are we. I also
think Negron is feeling very confident in throwing the ball
which is a huge thing for our running game. Look for another
huge game out of Eugene and hopefully Coxson gets into the
act......I think Coker has 100 yard game rushing. too ...

Honestly, with all the hype of Coker being from iowa i expected
a bit more yardage from him by now... but that's only because
Maysonet set the Bar real high. So maybe Coker gets on that
level eventually.

Coker is more of a bash, in your face type of back. Maysonet was
flashy and got his yardage from spins and jumps, I also think
Maysonet is a little faster then Coker. I would love to see
Jamie Williams run some more. He could be our meal ticket for
the next several years !!!
