Depth chart gives you an idea of who is healthy to play and
also who has been elevated as far as backups. Depending on when
Oliver was ruled out SB might have had a clue that he was not
playing. Priore does update injuries on tues and I am sure other
schools do something similar.

could someone send me a link to the depth chart. I can't find it
with this new SBAthletic site. I could only find the general
Roster !

When you go to the football screen, if you slide the mouse over
the horizontal menu to the right of "Football", where it says
"More Links", the drop-down menu will have a selection called
"Depth Chart"

I gotta say. I would love to see Tyler Fredericks play one game
this season. From watching some of his videos last year, I think
some of the larger schools passed over him by mistake, He should
make a huge impact in our running games when he does start to
play...

You only want to see Tyler Fredericks play in most gms. You do
not want to see him burn a redshirt cause he played sparingly in
a few gms. If he was the backup and carried 10-12 times a game
then you would take that. He has too much talent to waste on a
one gm basis. I do think he can play right now and would love to
see him get a lot of run just like Gowins got when he showed up.

I expect the Nova, Towson and New Hampshire games to be all nail
biters.
As for the depth chart, I don't see why we do updates to it if
not mandated by NCAA

I'm with you on not knowing exactly why, but almost every team
includes a somewhat updated depth chart in each weeks game
notes.
