Looks like we have two very good WRs, plus TE plus RB. I line
play was much better today. Watch out Nova !!

We beat UB in almost every stat. Take a look .. As far as I am

I noticed Dimwerius Benard DB #90 went down hard from a chop
block and did not return. I hoe he's o.k. because that a huge
blow to our defense ....

After today I think we will be ok in the CAA. Tough loss could
have used 1 or 2 of those missed field goals. Negron for 300
yards in the air nice.

Albany falls to Rhode Island in OT 19-13. Rhode Island wins it
first game since 2011 spoiling the opening game of Bob Ford
Field. Wow...
All of a sudden I'm grateful to be a Stony Brook fan. That
situation above really freaking sucks. Looking forward to that
last game of the season already

As a parent of a member of the football team, this was obviously
a very disappointing loss. Some of the comments about the kicker
were beyond mean-spirited and have no place on an SBU fan board.
Despite scholarships, transfers, etc., these are all amateur
players who are trying their best. You have the right to
criticize coaching decisions or make comments about who should
play, but to disparage an individual player with expletives?
Extremely immature and inappropriate. If a player hurt the team
by cheating, using drugs, or obvious unsportsmanlike behavior,
such comments might be excusable. But as long as a player is
giving effort, he deserves to be treated with a modicum of
respect. Some longtime contributors on this board should do some
soul-searching and I believe public apologies are in order.

I totally agree with sundoctor, there is no place for that.
These kids owe you nothing!!! This is a place to share info,
root for SB, give critique when appropriate. It is not a place
to bash a kid for making a mistake. I have brought this up
before that sometimes this board sounds like the Hofstra board
or a bad sports talk radio show. It is so easy to be negative
but why not try to be positive. These players have mom's and
dad's just like some of us have kids and you would not want
anyone saying things like that about your kid. Let's try to use
your head before you hit send. If you have to think that much
before you hit send then maybe this is not the forum for you. Be
positive, it's only a game!!!
