Ed DeLaura '00 - A Good Cause

Eddie was a teammate of mine at SB- a great guy who played well
for us and after graduating, came back all the time and
routinely gave back to the program. Not just with his money,
but with his time and efforts.
See if you can pick up a towel to help out Ed and his
unfortunate situation- im getting some right now.

update on ed's condition:
Ed has been diagnosed with stage 2 brain cancer (glioma). Its a
low grade tumor right now, however, the likelihood it will
become a high grade tumor is 35-50%. His doctors said this is
rare, as in one in a million. Ed's future is in question and
the next year could be very difficult for him. He is expecting
more chemo, radiation and/or more surgery.
Ed's staples were removed from his first operation and he is
feeling good. The support has been overwhelming his wife
believes it has kept his spirits up. A lot of that can be
attributed to the SB Lacrosse alumni community. Victoria thanks
you all very much.
The Fight for Edward towel campaign is now up to 196 towels
