Jag I have to disagree with you cause the last time I checked
Negron has already beaten Villanova, in a playoff game. It is
easy to see receivers open from the stands, it's a lot different
when you have def lineman coming at you. Let's give the guy a
chance before we bury him. When called on last year he answered
       the bell.

You're exactly right about Negron answering the bell last year.
And you're also spot on that if it was easy to read defenses,
       everyone would do it.
I just don't know if 3 of 6 passing for 50 yds is going to be
enough to win regularly against top flight competition. If we
were in the SoCon, maybe we could get away with that...
He could prove me wrong, and i'd be thrilled to see it.

ive pondered this and thought- dont let the low # of attempts
mislead you. priore likely wanted it that way. backup QB, big
game against a good opponent, in the playoffs, strength in your
explosive running game. why throw the ball? its the right
       call.
though i understand why it looks like priore didnt have the
confidence in him. could be the issue. im pulling for you
       negron get it done!

Chair. I think the majority of people on this board have
concerns with Negron because we all watched him perform in the
Spring game and summer practises and the verdict is out Negron
has accuracy issues. He does have a strong arm but if your
throwing interceptions 40 yards down field then we are in
trouble. Now, Negron did not play much Football for us and that
is one reason why he appears to be rusty. His size could be
another issue because he doesn't have great vision down field,
       among others.
In the CAA we can't just rely on the running game to win
Championships. In the BS that works but going up against teams
Like Villanova, new Hampshire. Main, Same Houston State, NDSU we
must have a Q who is a double option player that knows how to
throw the ball with accuracy, throw the ball away when the play
went bad and run for yardage when called upon...
This game against Rhody should be very winnable and that should
help with negron confidence in throwing but lets not take them
for granted. We've seen this week in College Football what
happens when you take a team for granted.

New Hampshire and Towson run the triple option.

Is that new for UNH and Towson? I know UNH threw the ball a ton
last year, and Towson basically had a 60/40 run-pass split last
       year.
