12-5 Final. Great accomplishment by this team. They beat every
team in this regional. Tomorrow 7pm will be the final. Our ace
will be on the mound, He should be.
With this win, the Seawolves have 49. The most by an America
East team.
Congrats to this great team

So, if youre like me and you dont really follow college
baseball, you might be wondering how the postseason works. So
ill put out there what i may have learned, and please let me
know of any glaring errors:
-64 teams are given a berth to the postseason
-the first round is split into sixteen regionals, which are four
teams each, seeded 1-4
-the regionals are double elimination mini-tournaments, with the
winner advancing. if you win your first three, i think you
clinch the next round
-each series is 1 game
-in this context (four teams) essentially double elimination
means that you dont advance on a 3-1 record; you play the 2-1
team for the berth (i think)
-the winner of each regional advances into the next round to
play the a winner from another regional, in a super regional
-each series in the super regional is three games
-8 teams come out of that and comprise of a bracket style
college world series
