       Welcome to CAA Football

Welcome to CAA Football. You guys are an excellent addition to
the league. I am looking forward to seeing how well your team
does and your visit to Bridgeforth Stadium to play the Dukes. If
you travel to Harrisonburg to watch that game, you will
experience one of the best game day atmospheres in 1AA.

not sure where else this goes... i watched some of the albany
rerun last night on SNY. have a few thoughts:
-why arent we on SNY? at least for reruns?
-the stadium looks like ours, which is a complement:

-i like what they did with the ALBANY written into the seats in
       the stands:

-of course, everyone's trying to grab the flagship, buffalo has
NEW YORK on its jerseys, and albany's blogspot has this:

-not impressed with the danes; a few days after we blow up URI,
they lose at home on opening night of the stadium

Albany was on SNY as part of the CAA TV package. We will be on
SNY this saturday against Nova. No worries

I think Albany's new stadium is beautiful and I like how there
is seating all around.. The funny thing is the stadium seats the
same number of people as Lavalle but looks so much bigger. I
guess it's an illusion.. I wonder if NYS took some of that 5
million that was allocated for expansion of lavalle and gave it
       to Albany ! HMMMMMMMM,,

I personally like LaValle because it has more a "finished look".
I don't like the temp bleachers and dislike the top tier being
made of out steel instead of concrete. But overall BFF is a
great improvement and definitely puts Albany to par with SBU.
Now we can enjoy a true rivalry with Albany as we are in the
same level in terms of facilities.

i think thats a rendering- the photo showing full around
seating. right now i think there's no seating in the corners.

It is a nice stadium for sure. They deserve it especially now
being in the CAA. Wish them the best of luck except in late
November when they visit our house.

I like that the field is sunk down. Overall good job with room
to expand. A cool feature I saw on their web site was that they
have a grass burm in the bowl section that can fit 2,000 fans.
Lokks like that will be the next step for LaValle to fill in the
bowl with seats and get an extra 2,000.
