did not realize that SB was ranked so highly in some of the
polls ;D
July 22, 2013
Richmond, Va. - In conjunction with CAA Football, the conference
announced Monday that two Stony Brook games will be televised
live as part of the league's television package. Both games will
be televised live on one of the NBC Sports regional networks.
Week four will feature a rematch of last year's playoff contest
between Stony Brook and Villanova on September 14. The Seawolves
defeated the Wildcats, 20-10, at LaValle Stadium, reaching the
second round of the Division I Football Championship for a
second straight year.
Stony Brook also will head to James Madison for a late-afternoon
showdown against the Dukes on November 16.
The final week of the regular season is Rivalry Week. Stony
Brook-Albany, scheduled for November 23, could be picked up for
broadcast.
The Seawolves, ranked No. 11 in the preseason by the Sports
Network, are one of six CAA Football teams ranked in the top 25.
Villanova is 15 and James Madison 19.
Stony Brook's game at Buffalo will be televised live on ESPN3 at
3:30 p.m

Not surprised we are ranked high, cause we are a legit program
now. As far as Negron goes he is a pretty good athlete, has good
feet, and good speed. He ran a spread in juco so he can run if
he has too. His arm is stronger than you would think. I do not
expect to see the same deep ball that Essington threw but I
believe he can be efficient. And who knows they might like him
better as a back up if somebody else steps up. Running game and
defense will take us were we need to go, it's a recipe for
success. Not scared of the CAA, bring it !!!

Hey Hammer are u going to be at the big Penn scrimmage. If so
let me know, would like to share a few adult beverages. Anyone
else also let me know. What I am saying is that I do not want to
be the only loser trying to tailgait at a scrimmage. Also I will
not debut my Cheeseboro steak sandwich until either the first gm
or homecoming, Hammer already has a reservation for that.

Hell yea!!!!!. The only way I don't go to the scrimmage is
either I'm out in the ocean fighting a 40 pound striped Bass or
I died.

maybe just maybe...
our team is so good that it wont matter if negron is a stud or
not. our OL can carry the team. or we could have a back like
maysonet that is a game breaker. or a lights out defense. or
special teams comes up with a big play. or a prepared coaching
staff.
fortunately- we have all of those already. GO SB

UB home openers the last few seasons have aired on Time-Warner
Cable SportsChannel in Upstate, so it would be exclusive to UB
steaming and ESPN3 elsewhere. The MAC has a cool central area
for streaming links from all MAC schools as well as to MAC ESPN3
media to make things convenient:
