He looks pretty good to me in what I saw. Grabbed a couple gb's,
and kept his man in check.

Ozsvath is off to solid start to the year with 25 goals in 7
games. His Hills West team is also off to a solid start at 5-2
with the two losses coming against the Smithtowns who might be
the two best teams in Suffolk.

       Dear Chairman of the Board
Sean Seaberg - Defense - West Islip HS - Class of 2015
Chalk me up for the assist on this one... especially if it works
       out! ;D
       GO SEAWOLVES!
Sean's a big kid. Will be a solid defenseman. I think he made a
great choice on where to to go to school!

thanks DDT! a good defensive class forming with a kid from
syosset, a kid from west islip (both big boys) a pole from BC
and a goalie from upstate. and the year before that is chock
full of defensemen with abdellatif, ross, talay, randall, and
       anderson. and maciejewski in goal.
looks like he is a lefty, can use his right though (passing and
catching). reminds me of nick maturro (not because he is from
west islip) but because he is a good combo of size and pressure
defense (not very common i dont think). good checks and takes
body. it looks like he can open up the stride in transition,
which is especially good for such a big frame.
minor point but id like to see him use the stick length- its six
feet, he's got long arms. keep attackers a stick length away,
especially when behind. if they are inside on you, some
consider that already beat. good find for coach.

Maturro was such a beast. I miss those days. Laid out some big
hits and put that big body in front of anyone's shot. I have not
made it to many West Islip varsity games this year so only saw
Seaberg at the JV level last year. Hope to get to some Suffolk
playoff games so should see him soon.

Oszvath at HHH ended up with 53, 4, which is 3rd in Suffolk for
goals and 6th on LI in goals. He's only a sophomore and scored
at least 2 in each game.
They finished the season poorly at Northport in the playoffs,
but had one nice upset against Whitman and nearly toppled West
       Islip on the road.

       Playoff update:
Ozsvath at HHH West finished 11-6 with a playoff loss to
Northport, who they beat earlier in the year. They beat Whitman
earlier in the year. Ozsvath piled up 53, 4 in his junior
       season in 17 games.
Alejo at Syosset went 13-5, defeating Hicksville in the first
round and losing to Massapequa in the second. Biggest win was
Oceanside, nearly toppled CSH on the road, losing in OT.
Daly and Lynbrook are an astounding 18-1 and will play red-hot
Rocky Point for the LI Championship on Saturday. The Owls won
three playoff games to obtain the Nassau B title, doubling up
Bethpage and Manhasset on the way. Biggest win was Oceanside.
Daly recorded 26, 13 in his junior year:
  HTML http://scores.newsday.com/sports/highschool/player.php?id=150112&schoolyear=2014<br
       />
Howell at Wilson West Lawn are currently 24-1 with two big wins
over Hershey, winning Berks County, and then another playoff win
over Emmaus. They take on Avon Grove on Saturday. Laxpower
likes WWL at #90 in the CPU ratings, if that's worth anything to
you. Howell has 17, 10 so far:
  HTML http://highschoolsports.pennlive.com/school/west-lawn-wilson-high-school/boyslacrosse/<br
       />
Comber at Bethlehem finished 7-10, i dont think they made the
playoffs. They play a brutal schedule and the scores were kept
pretty low with Comber in cage. They defeated Lasalle, Colonie,
       and CBA.
Seaberg and West Islip closed out the season at 13-7 with a loss
in the conference championship to Smithtown East. Notable wins
include WM and Smithtown West, both in the playoffs. The
defense was pretty dominant for most of the season. Laxpower
CPU has them at #83 nationally.
Hughes at Shoreham (with Anderson) finished 9-8 in the Section B
11 gauntlet, im not sure if they made the playoffs. They had a
big setback last year over the dismissal of a longtime coach,
who brought them to the national spotlight and kept them there
for many years. Hughes tallied 26, 7 on the year:
