I downloaded the Inside Lacrosse faceoff yearbook yesterday.
Not a ton of info on the team but in the American East section
they had Chris Hughes listed as the breakout stud. On the team
page they made it sound like he would be starting at midfield
with Rogers and Andressi.
They picked them 3rd in the AE behind Albany and UMBC. Overall
they had them ranked 31st, which seems fair.
btw-those new helments are awful imo, blue numbers? They shoud
have went with all red.

i thought about that- if you read the article very closely and
literally- it sounds like thats what the company designed, and
not necessarily what the coaching staff chose. i dunno. could
be wrong!

I would have preferred a red helmet also. The new one is not
terrible, just wish it had the SB logo on it. Someone needs to
let them know that royal blue is not our color, it's navy. I
wish they would just copy the football color's of red and grey
and dump the blue.

The Blue has to go...it's all about getting your red on. I get
that there is blue in Wolfie but that is where is should stay.
If you want to add a color go with the grey.

Blue is the tertiary color for SBU. It was used quite a bit on
the older team uniforms.
Helmet looks nice - all red would make away jerseys look
strange. White looks good with both types.

now that we are a mere few weeks away... any guesses on the
lineup??? keep in mind we've lost monzo at defense...

I really have no idea but here goes....
Mid - Rogers, Andreassi, Hughes
Attack - Rooney, Eastwood, & Schultz/Sichenzia
D - Benitez, Judge & Dorsey (Curry is listed at D on the
roster...wasn't he a middy last year?)
Pole - Harris
Shorty - Millican & Rock
F/O - Lindsay or Rowe
G- Johnstone (my upset special)
