I guess if you got recruited by slick ricky you didn't have a
       shot....
Stony Brook Names Junior, Soph. as 2014 Lacrosse Captains
STONY BROOK, N.Y - Stony Brook head head lacrosse coach Jim
Nagle announced that junior Mike Andreassi (Holbrook, N.Y.) and
sophomore Lucas Rock (Bay Shore, N.Y.) will serve as the
       Seawolves' 2014 co-captains.
Andreassi has played in 30 games over the past two seasons,
tallying 18 goals and 10 assists from the midfield. He scored a
season-best 14 goals, including two goals against Maryland and
Virginia, as a sophomore. Andreassi has nine multi-point games.
"More than anything, Mike and Lucas embody our three C's of
leadership - competence, compassion and courage," Nagle said.
       "As for Mike, he's always been a team-first guy. He's a quality
kid who balances academics and athletics the right way."
Rock emerged as one of the Seawolves' most reliable short-stick
defensive midfielders, playing in all 16 games as a true
freshman. He tallied 20 ground balls and seven caused turnovers
and added a goal at Vermont.
"Lucas has been dialed in since the day he arrived on campus,"
Nagle said. "He's earned the respect from his teammates as a
role model, and accomplishes all things that don't show up in
       the box score."
The 2014 season gets underway on Friday, February 14 against
       Marist at 6:00 p.m.

roster has added photos and ht/wt. cunningham mustve grown
because the pics i saw from his soph/jr year he didnt look 6'.
fantastic for us. gotta be excited with the success weve had
       from macarthur all these years.
the rest of the class is pretty big size wise. that used to be
a problem for us years ago, but i guess not now! half the class
is over 6'2''. i know these are usually inflated though.

Harris, Cerasi, Lucky Lucatuorto, and freshman Brandon Bailey
all listed as LSM. I wonder who is going to take the draws this
year? Would guess Lucky gets 1st crack with the pole followed
       by Lindsay and Rowe.

I agree you can't have a top recruit not only leave but end up
at Penn State. Something doesn't add up!!!

We also lost 4 mids and 2 goalies, bring in 3 mids next year so
       far and 1 goalie.

Wow, I would have thought Monzo would have been a starter.
Tyler Andressi could be red-shirting...he was hurt last season.
Lynott & Prestreau were two of Nagel's top recruits and one
didn't play a lick and the other wasn't as good as he though he
       was.
       [/quote]
Looks like Monzo transfered to Richmond...another solid young
       player Nagel let get away...
