If we can't roll Mommouth it is going to be a long season, isn't
it their 1st year in D1...Villanova will be a great test though.
       They are always good.

Niceeeee. I like it. Look at those sweet rankings in the second
page. Top 40 public University. Oh yeah!!
Chair, what are your expectations for the upcoming year? I
haven't followed lacrosee nearly as closely as I once did before
       graduating. NCAA hopes?

I dunno as i havent seen them play.
We lose some big players in JJ Laforet (had a huge impact in AE
play) and of course Tundo. Tundo is a guy that when youre tied
with 30 seconds left you give him the ball. Someone can
certainly step in, but maybe not as sure as Tundo was. A true
creator on offense, he was a former attackman that dodged from
the wing first looking for a shot and second for a feed and
third for a slide. I think he almost always got 1 and 3.
Sav Greene graduated too. So there's much leadership lost. And
       Monzo transferred out.
With that said, nearly everyone else returns, big talented class
comes in, Balzano from UMass, and everyone a year improved. My
expectations are that a lot of offense runs through either
       Rooney/Sichenzia at X or perhaps Hughes/Rodgers/Andreassi at
midfield. I think we will see more of Easty and Schultz inside,
       like last year.
Not sure who will run with the faceoffs but it looks like
Millican and maybe Harris are on the wings. And the Judge and
Benitez on defense. I somehow have big expectations for Ellis
at midfield, without seeing him play at this level.
UA should be good but beatable. I think BC will be down and has
some major injuries, but look out for Phil Poe at the faceoff x.
Expecting the same from Hartford and Vermont. Bingo should be
solid and lets be honest- we NEVER match up well with them, even
when we are better. Lets not forget we gave UA a good 45min i
think last year in the AE Semi.
UA seems to have graduated a lot at the midfield. But theyve
still got a lot of mids that can play and contribute. We gave
up i think 19/game against them last year. Will we score 20?
Probably not. 15? More likely, if we are good on that day.
Otherwise, we all know that in 2013 we started something like 6
freshman, 2 sophomores, etc depending on how you count starts.
They are a year better. And we lost FOUR games by 1 goal last
year (in 2012, SIX). If we can win 2-3 more faceoffs a game, i
       think it happens, 10-6.

I too expect big things from Ellis. I just read this article on
his senior football season at Garden City. I don't want to put
too much pressure on him, but I think he'll be a shut down ssdm.
