Nice find! Pikell seems to really be building quite the dynasty.

I think I've picked up from Twitter that both Tyrell Sturdivant
and Bryan Sekunda are likely to be on campus this weekend for
Homecoming. I think that's good news, since they still are only
verbal commits at this point. Looks like they are really
enthused about SBU. Didn't see any press on DeShaun Thrower,
but he has his high school QB commitments to concentrate on.

Deshaun Thrower picked up a FBS football offer from Central
Michigan last week. Hopefully he picks basketball over football

I don't know how many of you guys have seen this article on
Deshaun Thrower. But, it's certainly worth reading. Also,
don't forget to watch the video that's imbedded in it (both
parts--the second including an interview with him).
With this kind of talent on the gridiron, it's hard to believe
that he's actually going to be SBU's PG of the future--BECAUSE
HE BELIEVES IT'S HIS STRONGER SPORT. WOW!!!!

I think he has a lot of upside, and he'll be a real surprise
once he commits to basketball full time.

Just a little tease re: next year's possibilities from a twitter
posting I saw, "...Chester (PA) rolled past Coatesville (PA)
62-46 Saturday night. 2014 PF Tyrell Sturdivant (Stony Brook
commit) recorded 14 points, 15 boards". Nice, huh?

I was just looking at one of his Youtube videos and this kid has
talent.. I think SB will pack another 20 pounds of muscle on
this kid and he could be another Jameel.. He is listed at 6'8"
but he could still grow to 6' 9" or 6' 10" next year. Sweet .
Just imagine Jemeel, Tyrell, Ahmad, Rayshaun and Roland on the
floor at the same time. Now thats a power starting line up !!!!!

I'm really loving what I'm reading about next year's recruits so
far. Sturdivant just had is 3rd double-double in a row in the
first three games of his season. Deshaun Thrower just played
his first game as a senior, and scored a game-high 26 points!
Looking good, guys!!
