He shot 37 percent on threes this season (on a healthy amount of
attempts per game), so I think it would be unfair to say he
can't shoot it. Either way, going to be interesting to see how
him and Puriefoy work together once he's eligible to play.
On an unrelated note, I think we should wait until Thrower
actually does something before starting to say things like he'll
lead us to the NCAA tournament. Winning a Mr. Basketball award,
even in a state as good as Michigan, doesn't really mean
anything in terms of how good he'll be in college.

Great to hear about Woodhouse. I wouldn't be surprised he he is
granted a hardship waiver and is eligible to play immediately.
The NCAA has been giving out a ton in recent years.

I took some time this A.M. to study up a bit on the NCAA
transfer rules, and I've pretty much convinced myself that a
hardship waiver would not be granted in Woodhouse's case (based
upon his previously stated reasons for leaving Longwood, etc.),
and that he almost definitely would be sitting this next season
out.
Whar I'm still confused about is how this relates to his ability
to practice with the team, and if he is able to do so, does that
mean he would have to pay his own way next year, since all the
scholly's are used up? Would he be considered a redshirt under
those conditions, or does some other classification apply? I'm
betting that some of you guys can shed some light on this.

Sturdivant makes 1st team All-Delaware County, not a big
surprise. Saw him a few times this year, he will definitely
play for you next year. Wouldn't be surprised to see him
eventually playing alongside Warney, as he can shoot it a bit as
well. He will probably struggle the most with fouling, as he
can be very aggressive going for the shot-block, but he is good
at it. Very nice player and also quality young man.

We may only have 10 Div 1 games at home this year. 8 Conference
and so far only 2 teams are willing to travel to SBU to play in
our new arena. There are plenty of D3's who are willing to play
here though.
