He transferred to D-2 Winston-Salem State and basically never
really did anything (we used to keep track of him, and he
basically came off the bench a total of ~30 times in 3 years for
them). He looked like a ball-player, but was comically bad as a
defender (he defended by fouling, then he'd argue, repeat). In
complete fairness, those were very lean times, so he fit right
in...

Our boy Thrower, lit it up yesterday and their team won the
Michigan state title and went undefeated. Deshaun couldn't be
coming here at a better time!

I just read that Lucas Woodhouse (Harborfields HS) is leaving
Longwood, where he's been for the past two seasons, and is
transferring to SBU. If I remember correctly, he was a really
good prospect when he was graduating. What do you guys make of
this? I know that the Seawolves don't have any scholarships
left for the upcoming season!! ??? ???

Unless someone else is leaving, the only other thing I could
think of is that he would be a walk-on for next year, and then
get a scholarship when he becomes eligible to play.
But wow, what a get for Pikiell. Will be interesting to see how
he plays with Puriefoy in a couple years.

Woodhouse is a great get. He is an assist machine. I think he
will sit out this year. He doesn't need to score or shoot with
his poor shooting. He can set up Warney. Pikiell can go small
with three guards when needed. Both Tre and Thrower are scoring
guards. Woodhouse will let them do what they do best: attack the
basket and/or shoot.
