As if to prove the customary wisdom that you can't be a
superstar every night, here are some stats from yesterday's
       Chester HS game:
Tyrell Sturdivant: 0 points, 7 rebounds (He fouled out with
       over 4 minutes remaining)
--His team (Chester HS) is now 9-3
Those are the kind of games that keep a young talent humble and
       reflective.

Yes it does and it also puts reality in place... This will only
make the kid try harder, stronger and better.. Everyone needs a
wakeup call all from time to time, lol!!!!!

Just to give you all some good news, Deshaun Thrower had 32
points for the second consecutive game on saturday. They don't
seem to be publishing the other player stats out there. His
high school is now 8-0 on the year.

Between Thrower, Sturdivant and Warney and now Walker who found
his niche, this SBB will be a force to be reckoned with for
years to come.. Get your 2015 season tickets in June because
this team will be a lot of fun to watch!!!

Got to agree Hammer and we haven't seen Nyamma yet who is
       supposed be another real deal.

Yes Seawol97, if Nyamma is as good as we all hope, then we could
go deep into the dance. If its not the NCAA then it will be the
NIT. It will be the NCAA!!!

I was remiss in not passing along Deshaun Thrower's latest game
results against Grand Rapids on 1/21. So, here they are:
Deshaun Thrower: 31 Points (his last 3 games have been 32, 32
and 31. How's that for consistency?)
His team (Muskegon) won the game in OT, and now has a record of
       9-0.

Even if he produces only half of that at the D1 level that's
15-16 points/game. This is going to be a good class!

Seems like Thrower is more of a scoring point guard than a
distributing one. Exciting updates.. thanks for sharing
