I've seen Sturdivant play this season; you guys will definitely
like him. Compared to Warney at this point in their senior
seasons, he's probably a bit more athletic, and a better
shooter. He's not as efficient around the basket offensively
(who is?), and probably not quite as strong a rebounder,
although he's very good at that. He uses both hands to finish,
and tries to block any shot that's near him. Chester is a
big-time program, so he will be used to playing in big games.
He's got a huge upside, and his frame can clearly take on more
weight/muscle, but he's plenty big right now.....I would assume
that his development over the Summer/early fall will determine
his role next year, but with McAlister leaving, I can see him
getting some spot minutes next season.

I don't usually get the in from one specific link. If I know
he's had a game, I just usually do a search. Same with Thrower.
But, for this last set, here's the link I used:

       Thanks Quick!
Just going by pictures, Sturdivant has some very broad shoulders
you dont tpyically see on big guys in the America East. (Compare
       his build to Vermont's O'Day...)

No doubt, his frame is big, but he'll look a lot better with the
definition that comes with a good weight/strength program. Very
broad shoulders, but more importantly for a big, he's got a very
wide/strong trunk. Backside/hips are similar to Warney, needs
some work on technique/fundaments of rebounding, like most young
bigs. The raw materials are there.....

This could be quite a combo next year. If coach P plays them
at the same time up front and our guards get the ball inside we
could score a ton and defend well.

Here's the next input on SBU's amazing incoming 2014-2015
       recruiting class--UNBELIEVABLE!!:
Deshaun Thrower: 32 points (I can't seem to find other his stats
       for the game):
--His team (Muskegon HS) is now 7-0
