2011-12 Stony Brook Basketball Madness

Stony Brook Announced that BBall Madness will be on October 27th
from 9:30pm-11pm. All Stony Brook students are admitted for
free.
Should be a fun night

My wife and I will be there earlier to pick up our season
tickets . It is meet the team night from 6pm to 7pm. So enjoy
Madness later on . Now to beat Indiana on 11/11 !

Yes. Indiana is not a good team anymore but it is still Big10 so
to beat a team from the Big10 its going to be hard

When Ricky Lucas was playing for us we went down to Penn State
and knocked them off. So we are 1-1 against Big Ten teams.
It can be done especially with the talent we have now.

I remember that game. Yahoo posted the next day that the coach
almost got fired after that loss. Penn State was an abysmal
program that year (as it is most years by Big 10 standards in
basketball). That said, Indiana's been an equally poor program
this year. Crean's turning it around, and they are improved from
last season, but I see our vet talent keeping them busy all
game.

Its essentially just a glorified pep rally. It's nice way to
actually see some of our new players. should be free food again
this year.

Hey All,
This is InsideMan from SBU Athletics. I did my undergrad ,grad
school at Stony, and now work in athletics. I'm here to answer
any questions you have about football, basketball, or any other
sports.
Basketball Madness will be Thursday, October 27th starting at
9:30pm. It will give all of our students a chance to meet the
players, see some great performances, FREE FOOD!!, and one
student will walk out with a brand new flatscreen TV courtesy of
Best Buy Setauket. If you have any questions or comments my
ears are open!
