2012/13: Game 33 - 2013 NIT Second Round: SBU @ Iowa - ESPNU

OK, about time this thread starts; the game is tomorrow night.
Predictions? The Iowa fan board is pretty confident in a double
digit Iowa win, though one guy there hedged a bit when he saw
SB's higher-than-expected KenPom rating.

Reading some about Gesell being hurt and not playing... wonder
if he is a go or a scratch? Somewhere in the middle?
Iowa fans keeping it pretty clean so far on ESPN and the Hawkeye
Report... i gotta respect an opponent that respects us.

You know why they are keeping it clean Chairman...... because
the majority think they will smoke us so were not a threat to
them!! . UMASS fans were scared of us before the game, thats why
they were so hostile !!!! If the Brooks find a way to squeak out
a win, we will get some respect out of the big boys !!!!

Iowa had over 15,000 in attendance for its first round game
against Indiana St. This is the big time, for sure.

I dont think Iowa is any better or any worse than UConn at the
beginning of the season. I see a close game unless we go into
our funk in the 2nd half.

I think it's pretty cool that the Brooks flew in a private jet
out of mcarthur airport yesterday... The NIT pays to fly all the
teams around the country!!! Go SB, you guys can win this !!!!
