Jaghati.,.. with all do respect, are you kidding me? I will go
as far as good luck only because of the AE but that's all. This
is actually going to be fun for me because I can't wait for
football season to begin so we can kick the Great Danes but In
the CAA!! :P

alright guys everyone calm down- lets not have this thread, nor
the entire forum (which has been relatively clean to date)
descend into a name calling keyboard toughguy forum. we are all
adults. UA won, either wish them luck or just move on.

The AE Tourny set-up is another reason why SBU should work hard
to get in the CAA (dispite what Hofstra wants) for all sports,
or just Olympics with FB as a MAC associate, or (less likely)
consider a full move to the MAC in the future. Yet another year
where I heard the national media talking heads question the 1
week layoff and site movements. At least in MAC basketball you'd
get to play in an NBA arena that fills up for semi's and finals:

CUSA and CAA finals

RecoveringHillbilly.. SB basketball should try and win a couple
of Conference Championships first and make a run in the NCAA
before they can prove to other conferences, A10, CAA MAC etc..
that they are worthy of moving up !!!!! I agree. i would love to
see them move out of this one hose pony conference and move up
but it's unlikely any time soon that will happen UNLESS we have
a championship banner hanging from the rafters.......... Same is
true for Football. Lets win the FCS Championship or make
multiple trips to it, ie: NDSU, and then consider a move into
the FBS. This could happen one day but not anytime soon !!!

Yes.......Stony Brook should move up to the one bid, 16 seeded
CAA as soon as they can. 5 post-season bids from AE vs. 3 from
the CAA. The CAA will be a super terrific conference without
GMU and JMU......
Northeastern
Hofstra
Drexel
Delaware
Towson
W&M
UNCW
C of C
What a group! That is gonna be one powerhouse of a
conference.........kinda looks like AE 1.0 though.

It must really burn you that here are two self appointed
flagship schools with ZERO NCAA birth's between them and UA is
going dancing for the THIRD time (3 NCAA banners in the
rafters)...
Lets face it...UA is the best Athletic Department in all of
SUNY......It is what it is!

Jeff yes i agree... however, i still think across all sports,
should SB do it, it would still benefit them over the long run-
actually, i think it would benefit both the CAA and SB to do so.
Just my opinion at this juncture...
