I was rooting for Vermont. Ultimately Albany competes for the
same players and students we do. Vermont, not so much.

unclassy fans is the main reason why I wont root for albany. And
you are pushing it. Last weekend showed me what Albany fans are
like. Enjoy your win today, you'll have to pray the entire week
for a win in the NCAAs

Going to another teams board and posting about a game that
doesnt involve that team is unclassy in the first place. I dont
think any sbu fan has done that before. Its all good though.

NOW that Albany has won, CC, I hope you guys do well in the
Tournament and get some respect for the AE. Hopefully we'll do
the same in the NIT.

Gentlemen, it's time to acknowledge that we are in the presence
of greatness. Bow down in awe of the dynasty that is Albany.
Lets take a look at the insane success they've had in recent
years, shall we? In the last 5 years, they've won...
--- 2008 Football won the conference AND THE GRIDIRON CLASSIC
BEATING A POWERHOUSE JACKSONVILLE STATE!
--- 2011 Womens Lacrosse won the conference, got bounced in the
quarterfinals!
--- 2012 Football won the conference, got bounced by SBU in the
first round!
--- 2013 Womens basketball won the conference!
--- The 2010 SBN Jake Gaither National Championship Trophy (SBN
Sports Black College National Football Championship) after an
11–1 season.
---- Baseball champs 2010
(the last two are Albany State, but we'll give UAlbany
half-credit because otherwise the list is kinda bare)
Compared to SBU, our acheivements are just inferior. I mean, in
the last five years, we've only won championships in Football
(4), Basketball (3), Baseball (2), and Lacrosse (4).
As such, to the Albany fans reading our boards, obviously we've
been too harsh on you. I apologize on our behalf. You have had
it REALLY rough these past 20 years. With as little success as
your university has had, Stony Brook fans should be happy for
you. After all, we've gotten spoiled, celebrating 2-3
championships a year. We've forgotten how the other (less
successful) half live. We should understand that after this
game, you probably won't have another championship until womens
rowing wins one in 2016, so you need to celebrate every win like
it's your last (because given your history, it might be...)
