Hammer, thanks for the updates on the scrimmage yesterday. and
thanks for the info on the game scheduling. here's to a good
week of practice for our boys. one thought on RB, they could be
reserving Coker in spring practice to avoid injuries, he will be
our main RB this fall

Coker should and will be our feature back this year. I expect
we will also see more of passing game to stretch the defense
and rest Coker. Just a hunch.

I agree they are saving Coker from injury. thats why I haven't
seen him run much this spring practice.. Same for Tye. The
question is.. Who is ****er back up????? SB must see something
in Williams they like for a back up because he had the majority
of practise this week!!.. He's small and needs to put on at
least 20 pounds of muscle to be considered a decent RB in
College !!!!

Williams is going into his third year in the program. he red
shirted in 2011 and was a special teams guy last year. I
suspect that they want to use him as a change-of-pace back.
someone with more speed than Coker. since he has been in the
program for a couple of years already, I'd not hold out hope
that he is suddenly going to put on 20 pounds, or else he would
have done that already. not sure of what he looked like when he
came in as a freshman, maybe he was 170 then, and has added 20
lbs already through the SB strength program.

BFF. I'm curious who Priore will use as Coker Back up!!. Maybe
SB will get a JV Transfer to come in or someone else who's not
on the spring roster...... RB kenner perhaps????

Hammer do not be surprised if incoming freshman RB Tyler
Fredericks from Lawrence gets a real look in summer camp to be
second rb. He has the size 6'1" 220 and Priore is really high on
him, he feels he was a potential Div 1 kid and thought he was
lucky to get him.

Chrissy. I was watching some ESPN and they were talking about
how Freshmans are getting a lot of playing time in College and
that is the the new norm. Maybe Prioire will use Fredericks
right away. We will have to wait for summer scrimmage to find
out!!!!!

We are going. It's my understanding Carrabbas will be doing the
cooking... I eat there all the time...Should be a good Spring
Game and lets hope this jerky weather plays nice with us!!!!!
