As requested. We now have a Stony Brook spring Football thread.
Lets get the talk going. I can't wait for Football season. But
we still have a whole spring and summer to go by

Great idea getting this thread posted. LOTS of interesting
storylines this spring but the one I'll be looking at the most
is who the heck will be our QB this year? I like what I see from
Bednarski on tape but Negron will have the incumbent's
advantage.
Here's a quick overview of the QB race...I hope to do a few more
positional pieces during the spring practice period.

Seawolf, great story on the upcoming QB challenge. nice
insights on all of the QBs.
here is a link to the SB spring practice and scrimmage schedule.
hopefully we can get some insights from people that are able to
attend some practices or the scrimmages and give us some
feedback on what they see. First practice is Wednesday March
27.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but even in your
comprehensive QB assessment writeup Jimmy Walker is not
included. Am I missing something here? I could have sworn that
I read that he actually signed with SBU. Since you seem to have
the best info, What's a Seawolf, are you able to clear this up
for me?

Jimmy Walker is not on the Spring Depth Chart which means he is
either not on the team or not enrolled in the school at this
time.

I belive Jimmy Walker is still in california, attending high
school. so he wont be on the spring depth chart. I dont think
he was offered a scholarship, otherwise he would have been
listed with all the other letter of intent signees in February.
maybe he got a grant in-aid offer, or a walk-on offer. Maybe
Chrissy D knows.
lets see how fast Bednarski climbs the depth chart at QB
