       Given time and our new  arena   coming, there is no reason we
       cannot be   a serious mid major program . Our coach and his
       staff have taken us a long way from the dark days. Warney will
       be the center piece of our program after Tommy leaves  and he
       will only improve.

       Maryland coach Mark Turgeon was a guest on the Tim Brando Show
       this morning and had some complimentary comments about SBU.
       He called the team well coached and tenacious. He cited Tommy
       Brenton as the glue that makes it all work. He thinks the
       Seawolves are a very good team and
       talked about Warney being even better than the Terps thought he
       was. Good stuff from a well respected coach of a national
       progream. He said it was a great job by the coaching staff in
       getting Warney here. He felt many other teams missed the boat on
       him. Both Turgeon and Jon Rothstein ( the fill in host ) think
       the Wolves will have a strong season.
