Lets go SEAWOLVES!!!!!!!!!! So many great things happening all
around... Just wished that current students would appreciate all
these great victories by showing up at the games... Oh well...
I expect a victory out in Montana. We got this!!!
Are we really becoming the Evil Empire Mr.Fiore commented about

Someone already posted our forum URL in one of their forums.
They have some good fans but also some Homers. One guy already
made a Stony Brook player "look alike" post, with photos. Pretty
juvenile but kinda funny.

Bobcat Fan here. Are any of you planning on traveling out for
the game? If you are be sure and stop by our forum, people will
be glad to help you out with planning.
We have a great gameday environment with lots of tailgating, and
you will be welcome at any of them. We wont be at this game
since we will be 300 miles away at a HS wrestling tournament in
another part of the state. :(

Congratulations on the big win yesterday and the great season in
general. It's a long way to travel, but I hope some of you can
make it out to Bozeman for the game.
Gotta love the playoffs. Really looking forward to the game

Game could be really interesting. Sadly, as usual, the biggest
advantage we have is that we're from the Big South, so it's
obviously impossible that we're a good team.
I don't think the weather will be a factor at all. Lets be
honest, it'll be cold, but not anything out of the ordinary
(temps here on LI has been been colder than Bozeman for the last
few weeks). Playing on the road will have an impact, but to be
honest, the environment will be minor (they'll draw ~20k, no
worse than West Point, Syracuse, etc).
As to Montana State... they've got a great run D, and a really
good QB. They run the ball well, but are able to throw. As
expected, they'll be the best team we've seen since Syracuse.
Essington will need to be on his game, as will Norrell and Gush.
They'll commit to stopping the run, but they may be able to do
it with just 8, which makes things very interesting.
Should MSU be favored? Of course. Should they be booking
tickets to Frisco tonight? Probably not...

For you ratings junkies, MSU has an 86th best RPI among all DI.
The Sam Houston team we played down to the end last year
finished that year with a ranking of 77th. This Stony Brook team
is better than last year's version. The take away is that it
could be a very close game.

This team stacks up against any fcs team in the country. I am
tired of all the haters out there. What team in the country has
two 1,000 yd backs ( one close to 2,000 and the front runner for
the Walter Payton award ) and a QB who is in the top 2 or 3 in
efficiency with a 1,200 yd reciever, SB does and we can beat any
team in the country. I hope that dude on the selection show who
put Villanova on the graphic as playing MS did a little more
homework since then. All we hear is how much better the CAA is,
that may be true on a whole as a conf. but team by team we are
as good as anyone. Tired of hearing it. Yesterday's win should
not be considered an upset cause we were flat out better than
them. This coach knows how to recruit and SB is going to be here
for a long time, hope you guys agree

Just watching Essington walk out for the coin toss showed me he
is no lock for next week. He was really favoring on leg.
Fingers crossed his treatment this week goes well.
