So I just got back from the Mount Ida/Navy Doubleheader. I liked
what I saw from this team. A lot of potential. Our freshmen
players look great to be the second game of the season. Sloppy
at times but I'll take it. I hope this was a great warmup for
the Rider matchup at 6am. I'm excited.

Watched the second half this morning. Had a nice lead, let
Rider jump back in the game (within 3 i think) and had a long
scoring drought (turnovers). Pulled away at the end. Nice job
       guys. GO SB

       is a good win.
       Way to go SeaWolves!!!

Watched the entire game. It was awesome to watch the wolves
early in the morning prior to heading to work. Great win. 2-0
start against the MAAC on young but talented team. I like what I
see. Tommy Brenton taking shots, it feel good to see the
three-pointer by Brenton. We need him to keep taking those
       shots.

FDU over scheduled and had to drop two games. They dropped us
and Marist - so thats why we opened with them on late notice.
The good news is FDU now owes us a home game next year for the
mixup and Marist owes us a home game next year. We also will
get Northeastern as pay back for last season's bracket buster.
I think Rider and Marist are going to have winning records this
year. Two road wins in very tough environments. This Seawolf
team is going to be tough tough tough!

Im impressed with our start. We are playing hard nosed
basketball . Warney looks good so far he will only get better
       as the season moves along.

Agree, just the start you wanted. So far (I've only actually
seen 1 game) the team appears to be very similar to last
season's team. Hoping to see more from Hayes, Puriefoy and King
as time goes on. Really like Brenton being a bit more
aggressive (did he really hit a 3?), and Warney is a beast.
Defense is still there, but there has to be more production from
the PF position (McAlister/King), as well as some transition
points. Jackson and Coley are playing well, and for now, it
appears that Rouse is the back-up SG....if you can beat Sacred
Heart and Canisius (they best BU last week), you would go into
UConn at 5-0. With the way Albany is playing, it looks like the
AE is definitely more competitive this year!

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to see Brenton taking a three
and making spin move to the basket. I said last year the team
can't afford to have a non-shooting guard or forward on the team
whom the opposition can back off from and plus up on someone
else. Brenton needs to keep the other team honest, and he's def.
       doing that more.
