I have some family staying over due to the hurricane, and i came
home from work and they had Big East bball on. After the game,
we just kinda left SNY on, and there is this silly show called
Beer Money where a girl walks around the pubs and asks sports
questions to average joes, and gives cash awards.
The question was- where did Tom Seaver play baseball in college?
The contestant didnt know- so he said Stony Brook. ;D
Turned out it was USC. :D Again, for what its worth.

Yep- and thats exactly the point- the recent success of baseball
on the grand scale really shines through on that comment. I
should email Senk to make him aware of it...

By the way, has anyone noticed, that our board membership has
recently increased? Or am i seeing things? eCasa do we have #s
on that?

I've noticed a rise in activity/membership. We have had multiple
members join in the past couple of weeks. i was going to make a
post about this a few days ago. The membership count is
officially is 123 but in reality its probably much less
considering a lot of users from other teams come here for a
while and then leave. I haven't figured out a way to precisely
measure the amount of real users but there is no doubt that our
SBUFan family is growing.
Currently we have 28 users with nine or more post!!!
Lets keep promoting the site, and lets keep building a
community. This is only the beggining
