       2012: Game 9 - SBU @ Presbyterian 10/27 - ESPN3

The season is coming down to it lasts few weeks and the
Seawolves are positioned on top, just where we wanted them to
be. After a great win against Gardner-Webb, the 7-1,3-0
Seawolves turn the page and head down south to Presby, a series
that has been dominated by the Seawolves 3-0. I expect it to be
       a big win.
       Go Seawolves

Presby has had a tough year- and with that said, theyve played
some good teams and traveled a bunch. SB is just in stride
right now and i expect them to win on the road.
Polls not out yet, however, Lehigh and Wofford both won; so did
ODU and SHSU. I think both Mon St and NDSU were off. JMU did
lose, however, might/might not be enough to drop out of the top
       ten, maybe.
And there's Albany again just one spot outside...

Albany cracks the top 25 for the first time in the Sports
       Network Poll. Congratulations to them
We stay at #10 for now. James Madison dropped to #9 but that
wasn't enough to help us. Its going to be hard for us to improve
on that top 10 ranking. We gotta win out every single game if we
want to be ranked in the top 7!

Great news. Happy for the Danes as well at #24. Theyre 20 in
the Coaches poll, which i think is more like it.
       Coaches (#9):

Sports Network (#10), with still one first place vote:

Why all the love for Albany? Is it SUNY love?
I for one enjoy beating them.

Sort of. Its a sister school, to some its the same university
different campus. Its a conference foe, and will be also in the
CAA in the near future. Makes the conference stronger if they
do well. Makes our losses to them hurt less; makes our wins
       over them better.
Just trying to be an objective fan of the game. :-[

Albany its our rival. But for the sake of Northeast football and
SUNY we need them to get better just like us. I still want SBU
to beat the hell out of them when we play them but I want them
       to succeed also.
Its not like Hofstra, which was totally against us and wanted us
to fail. I don't think thats the way it should be. Embrace your
competition and beat em when you play them

These pregame press releases leave much to be desired- i guess
once we start getting better and move to the CAA, our media dept
       will grow commensurately.

So here's my pregame note for Presby:
