I'm biased but I think Stony Brook has as good a chance as
anyone. Nagle pulled a rabbit out of his hat when he landed
Tundo last august. Hopefully he can do it again with Galasso.

True. He was a big pickup. I have a feeling that this freshman
class is going to be monstrous, like the 2011 class, and i think
next year's freshman are in the neighborhood. GO SB

Im sure coach is on the case. Im really trying to keep up with
all the articles, the commentary, the news frenzy. The only
thing that is clear is that he isnt near a decision.
Saw this on LP:

I think Nicky should pull a page out of Lebron's book and hold a
press conference with Quint on ESPNU and state where he is
taking his talents to next! :D

UMass-Lowell Joining DI's America East, Adding Men's, Women's
Lacrosse
UMass-Lowell is set to formally elevate its athletic department
to Division I in a news conference Thursday morning. The River
Hawks will join the America East conference, and will add men's
and women's lacrosse to its slate of programs, according to
Boston.com.
The school's website has a notice on its homepage that an 11
a.m. news conference will announce the move.
UMass-Lowell will move to DI in 2013-14 season, and the Boston
Herald is reporting the men's and women's lacrosse teams will
begin play in the 2014-15 academic year. The River Hawks are
most known for their hockey program.
Growth at the men's Division I level has seen an uptick in the
past two years: Michigan, High Point, Marquette, Monmouth,
Furma, Boston University and Richmond have all announced the
addition of men's lacrosse in the past two years. Presbyterian
dropped Division I lacrosse last season. The 2013 season will be
up to 63 teams with Marquette and High Point starting. After
2014, it will be 67 with with addition of Furman, Monmout,
Boston University and Richmond. As it goes now, UMass-Lowell
would be the 68th men's DI team.
