Ummmm HOW is West Islip 20 min from the University of
Uniondale???
With traffic, its closer to an HOUR and 20 min. And if you can
count on one thing on Long Island, its traffic. :(
Obviously im kidding. But really its like 30 miles away. Thats
at least 45 minutes, ive done this drive many times.

The article said if Galasso goes to a team that is on NC
schedule this year he would have to sit out a year as per
release agreement. That is going to eliminate alot of schools. I
believe Stony Brook is the spot, if you read between the lines,
not too far from home. I 'll go out on a limb and say he comes
here.

Yeah but it also said he wants to be away. And that UNC is too
far.
To me, that means that he wants to be off Long Island but no
more than 5-6 hours away. The kind of driving where his dad and
four brothers could get in the car in the morning, watch him
play, and be home that night. I would think, given all the
above, that makes Delaware, UMass, Cuse, Rutgers, all viable
options.
I would say PSU, but i think they are on the 2014 UNC schedule.
Who knows, maybe Nova, Albany, Drexel, or even Bryant can be in
the mix.

Maybe one of the the local Big East schools ? St Johns,
Rutgers.

I could see Rutgers or Cuse. I would love for him to come to
the Brook more than anyone but Rutgers has BCS facilities and
Brecht is a great coach. Cuse, well they are Cuse.
If he goes to the America East I would be shocked but it would
be huge for the program. Lehigh and UMass could be in the mix
too.

If Cuse, Rutgers, Lehigh are on NC schedule this year then he
has to sit out a year. I believe they played last year. It would
help if the schedules were released then we could play detective
and eliminate from there. Listen I am a homer but Stony Brook
gives him a chance to make an immediate impact, and also a
chance to enjoy college life and be close to home. He did not
say he wanted off the island, he said Hofstra might be too close
to home. All I am saying is the Brook is not out of the picture.
If you guys believe in Nagel and his ability to sell the program
and recuit ( witch so far he has done a real good job ) then it
is quite possible that we land Gallasso.

Rule out Hofstra since they play NC this year. He wants to play
this spring and that would mean he would sit this year.

Rule out Hofstra because Galasso said he aint going to Hofstra.
Desko confirmed that he is talking to Galasso:

Again, i think that if Hof is too close to WI, then SB is also
too close to WI...

If Cuse has the ok to bring him I can't see him picking The
Brook over the Orange. Just my opinion though
It would be such a great story if he played at Stony Brook but
Nagel did just cut his boy Diggle...Ha

Yes I agree anyone would pick the cuse over the brook to play
lacrosse, what I am saying is that it would not be a slam dunk
for cuse due to the release agreement. That puts alot more
schools in play like rutgers etc. What I do not get is the
negative tone of this discussion. He would be a huge asset to
the program and stranger things have happened, that's all I am
saying.

Oh of course it would be a positive for our team- with four
attackmen departed!
I think the issue with Cuse is, when they join the ACC in 2014,
and UNC is undoubtedly on the schedule, will that prevent
Galasso from signing with Cuse?
Im doubtul, considering the statements Desko made... but with
all that said, i am extremely happy with Rooney's progress, and
the way Eastwood looked in the fall. And weve got Schultz too.
