Game is looking good. 20-0. It seems like this can be our first
FBS win. Gotta hold on for the rest of the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Surrendered only a FG at the end of 3. The defense made another
great goal line stop earlier, and has caused 3 turnovers. And
recovered them all.
Army so far is plagued with flags and fumbles. SB should give
credit to its O-line, they are really outmanning the Army box.
GO SB
While i am a fan of the option and the triple option, some of
the genius in it is that you draw a team in by making them
commit 8 in the box. Army has done nothing to keep the SB
defense honest. Nothing.

A few other thoughts:
-- The D was spectacular. Was almost like a different team than
from the Colgate game.
-- Coker continues to puzzle. The upside is that he probably
won't be entering the NFL draft this year, and will come back
for another season.
-- Is Maysonet human?

Good job SB!
Now onto winning the Big South and charging through the
playoffs. Next step after that, is to now get our first BCS win
next year.
Priore and Fiore are going to start drawing a lot more attention
before this year is out. GO SB

Shock the World-Part Two! Great game , a near perfect game for
the Seawolves. Our defense just came up on every play. Now on
to the Big South.

Congrats to Coach Priore for a well coached game that had the
team well prepared in all aspects of the game. Especially
important was how well disciplined they played with only two
penalties. Whenever Army threatened, our defense either came up
big or capitalized on an Army mistake. I think we can sweep the
Big South with 9 quality wins (Pace doesn't count) and get a
first round bye in the playoffs! Maysonet reminds me a lot of
Brian Westbrook who played for Villanova and later for the
Eagles. With the massive Stony Brook fan presence, I think our
players must have felt they were playing at home! I think its
great that President Stanley came to the game - it's very clear
that Stony Brook football has the support of this
administration.
