so i guess the athletic dept took my suggestion into account-
the far end zone (where the plants are, or were missing) is now
covered in a giant SB tarp. ::)

MUCH too close for comfort. That was not a performance that will
get them far into the playoffs, or even one that will beat
Liberty in Lynchburg. I suppose turnovers happen, and so many
penalties reflect the passion of the team (I've heard that used
before), but allowing one Colgate rusher to gain 163 yards just
won't cut it. And missing both two-point conversions with
Maysonet and Coker available is hard to explain. Hopefully they
learn from this and use it against Army.

Ill second that. Turnovers and dropped passes didnt help today.
Skiffy is just money this year. Maysonet is an all star, 100
yards on special teams alone. The only guy that really beat us
was McCord, but Colgate's kick returner was really good. Oh and
my favorite player- Dudley- 12 tackles (10 solo).
Hope they wake up for next week- Army just scored 38 on Wake.
And lost.

Forgot to mention- attendance at 10,278 SRO. Thats around what
the NCAA QF got in 2010. And Priore said it was a special
atmosphere because there were fans in the seats during warmups.

Too damn close but they got the win. I could honestly say I had
never had such a great time at LaValle like I did today. Was
there since 11am tailgating and having fun with the college
friends. Amazing. The place was damn packed. I'm sure they was
about 10k people there tonight. Amazing.
The team didn't play to my expectations, but I'm just glad we
came out with the win. The one point victory set up a great
rush-the-field moment so I won't complain... lol

I wasn't at the game--watched it online--but I was surprised
that Priore did not go for it on 4th and 1 at the Colgate 28 or
so. Skiffington nailed the 41 yarder, but even for Skiff it was
far from a sure thing. I think Coker bulling his way forward for
the one yard would be the better bet and with a better potential
payoff. All's well the ends well, but I was surprised at that
call.
After just watching the video highlights, it's not an
overstatement to say that Maysonet is a phenom. Not only does he
put the the numbers, but he's also a human highlight reel. He
will finish up as the top all-time rusher in the Big
South...ahead of Rashad Jennings who plays for the Jaguars. It
would be shocking if he didn't get drafted. He's even
outperforming Coker, who is talked about as a good NFL prospect.

Great atmosphere yesterday. It looked like SBU was caught in
that proverbial " trap game " mode. However, they made the plays
when needed and came away with the win. The team will need to
perform better next week to compete. I am really looking forward
to the West Point game. I have gone to several games there over
the years and it is one of the true gems of the college football
experience. I am happy the team persevered today and kept the
ball rolling forward. Good to see the students out and vocal.
