sounds great. I too heard that this year's recruit class could
be one of SB's best, so in a month, we will hopefully all be
smiling. I heard too that HC Priorie likes to redshirt frosh
players to give them a chance to further develop.

To piggy back off what sbufan posted Haggart will play LB at
SB. This was mentioned in the article that newsday put out last
summer,and also mentioned every time his Sayville team was
televised on MSG VARSITY ( 4 times ). Mike Quick of MSG also
made note of him playing LB when he announced the MSG all metro
team witch Haggart was on.

I am not sure if this video was already posted on the Forum, but
looks like Ousmane Camara is ready to start this season as a
OLB. I wonder if Priore will Redshirt him.... Check out the
4:00 mark !!!!!

Nice video Hammer. I have seen Both Camera and Haggert quite a
few times and it will be tough to keep them off the field next
year.

My source tells me that these players are expected to sign
letters of intent to play at SBU. Ryan Fredericks RB 5'9" 195
lbs from Monroe CC ( brother of Tyler Fredericks ) will have
3yrs eligibility. They also have a younger brother Jordan
Fredericks who will be a junior this coming year, he has already
started 2yrs since his freshman yr. so keep an eye on him. Ron
Denig 5'11" 220lbs LB from Milford Academy. Denig graduated from
Newfield HS in 2012 were he won a L.I.C. as a senior and also
earned 1st team ALL METRO, 1st team ALL L.I. and also won the
Rob Burnette award as the best def player in Suffolk. Travon
Segure 5'11" 170lbs DB/RB Fort Hamilton HS in New York. Armani
Garrick 6'4" 265 OL Fort Hamilton HS. Like I said these guys are
expected to sign, anything can happen from now until then. I
will try to get some more info on accolades on Fredericks,
Segure, and Garrick. I have seen Ryan Fredericks play in person
fro Lawrence HS and he will be a nice fit. He is a powerful
runner with some speed, keeps his pads low and has a good burst.

Travon Segure looks like a steal. He tore his acl at the end of
his junior football season, but reportedly at one point had/has
a Syracuse. He looks like a real nice athlete in his junior
highlight film.

Not bad. Needs to work on pivoting after catching a short pass -
but very impressive acceleration.
Sounds like a Michael Coulter - like acquisition: Syracuse offer
+ Injury = SBU next year.
