Walking Tour

i have to tell ya- the first time i was there was sometime
probably in the mid 90s. this place is completely different.
its so much nicer; they are getting better students; there is
more pride; better staff; better everything. And athletics goes
without saying.
a real walk down memory lane for alums here! :-*

Im not even an alum but my wife and were on campus last Friday
picking up some baseball shirts and of course lunch at the
Bench. Construction going on all around. The hotel looks great
if you havent seen it and the student rec center is coming down
the home stretch. I guess it wil be ready by September. Many
changes since our daughter was there ('97). Of course athletics
has taken a quantum leap since 1997 when football was played on
that sandlot at the d3 level. It is good to see the growth and
change in mindset going on.

Stony Brook University is beautiful. The days of mud and bridges
to nowhere are history.
I miss this place a ton
