The injury situation being as it is, I'd say he has a better
than even chance of seeing some action tomorrow. Sure hope he
makes the most of it!!

first half of the giants game- tye has three receptions, and the
last one was a decent one (18 yards). 3 targets, 3 catches, 44
yards. good start!!!

He also did some decent blocking, and even got some good words
from color commentator Chris Collingsworth. Maybe he's found
his niche.

he did late in the game yes... and on the three catches, the
first and third collinsworth mentioned SBU. good stuff.
of course, donnell caught the late go-ahead TD, but still, the
Jints run multiple TEs so there's plenty of room at the table!

Big Time game for Tye. four catches for 49 yards.
Collingsworth said near the end of the game that he was really
impressed with Tye, played multiple positions in the game
including fullback, and caught some passes. hopefully the
future is bright for Wil.

Remember Tye transfered from Florida State to SBU; great
exposure for the school. Tye technique in pass route was already
crafted at Florida he needed to learn how to block as a TE.
It looked like he is coming along in learning that skill; on a
couple plays he missing blocks.
It's a huge opportunity for him w the Giants; long term he needs
to be a 2 down or 3 down TE to stay in the NFL.
