@GregLogan1: ACC FB sked change: Stony Brook replaced by
Villanova in opener at Boston College. Seawolves now plan home
       opener 8/31 vs. TBD. #SBAthletics
       What the hell!

That sucks. Change the Buffalo game not BC !!!! I had plans
with about 15 family members to see that game !! BC is afraid to
       play us. !!!

Apparently we are talking to Sam Houston. Pittsburgh is also
       rumored.

O great. Makes no sense for Sam Houston State or SB to travel
1500 miles away to play each other. I rather play BC then play
Buffalo or Pittsburgh but, I did say all along, I rather have
that one extra home game then have an extra FBS opponent to play
against .. Then again $300,000 to $500,000 less in SB bank
account as of today if we don't schedule another FBS game !!!

Pitts' schedule is out too.. not playing them. So its probably
going to be an FCS team which I wouldn't mind if its a homegame.
That original schedule with first 4 away games was tough. BC
would have been an exciting game though. Sorry to hear that
Hammer. I think it was more of BC's history with Nova to exite
       their fanbase.

that blows big time. wonder who initiated that change. seemed
like BC was a winnable game for us. granted, starting the
season off with four straight road games was the pits.

Whatever happened.. our AD definitely agreed.
Fiore probably wanted to get rid of a game from the first four
away games, anyway. And as soon as BC called Fiore probably said
"Sure.. but we get to visit you next year". I hope we didnt give
up without a promised game @BC next year or in near future. Then
its a win win situation. We give our team a break from the tough
schedule and still play them in future.
Lets just see what happens. Lehigh also has an opening on 8/31.

As much as I want to believe BC chnaged their schedule is
because of the total humiliation it would have been for them
because we would have put a woopen on them but, I think the 4
away games to start the season was a bit to much. We will
probably have our first game of the season at home but with whom
       ???????

its just a bit deflating to lose that game, since its relatively
close and an FBS game to boot. Funny that SB would announce
their schedule then change it. I'm hating Nova more and more
already. hopefully its a high caliber FCS team, and not from
       the lower tire groupings.
