I just hope he gets drafted. The hammy injury hurt his status
because the drills that he did do at the combine were average at
best. What he really has going fit him other than the great
game tape is he is such a high character guy. That really
propels him in my opinion.

Here's a little throwback. After a little research I found out
that Conte Cuttino played in Finland over the summer and will be
attending Stony Brook's pro day this March.

He attended a regional combine with
some fairly impressive results. His 40 time was a little high at
4.55 but everything else was pretty great.

There was some serious press about Cuttino in his senior year. I
recall an article in the NY Post about the Jets being very
interested in him. That never materialized, but then he played
in the CFL until he violated team rules. I sure hope he gets
another shot. I remember one game against VMI in 2009 where he
and Eddie Gowins EACH gained over 200 yards.

I had thought that Pro-Day at SBU was scheduled for 3/19. Did
it come off? If so, does anyone know how Maysonet fared, and if
he was able to run the 40?

The USB pro day is 3/21...I also heard the Pats scheduled a
private workout for Maysonet.
Of course that is the only team I couldn't root for him on.

Thanks JoeWillie. I'm hoping he impresses a lot of people.
Anyhow, even if he ends up with the Pats, although I could never
root for the team, I'll certainly wish the best for Miguel!!
