According to the latest report I read, Bamiro cleared waivers
and was just signed to the Eagles practice squad. Hopefully this
is just a stepping stone to making the team later in the season
or next year. I think it is rather disgusting that some
headlines are leading with Bamiro being called a "draft-dodger."
Clearly these headline writers are misinformed as he definitely
wanted to play another year at Stony Brook and the fault here
really lies with the delay in the decision making process with
the NCAA.

They're calling him a draft-dodger because it's an easy
headline, everyone thinks it's "creative", and it'll be
forgotten about by tomorrow.
I don't Philly ever expected him to make the roster for this
year. They've been raving about him, at least in the papers, as
a raw talent. If you take them for their word (a big if), it
really seems like he starts at RT next year, once Peters moves
on and they move Johnson to LT.
Making the practice squad is still a pretty good accomplishment.
Just gotta keep working.

After what I saw of the G8iants' RBs last night, I think they
could sure use the services of our man Maysonet!! Does anybody
feel Miguel could possibly do any worse than those pretenders
did? YIKES!!!!!. How about giving him a shot, Coach Coughlin?

Trent Richardson numbers were nothing to talk about yesterday as
well. Why did they cut Miguel. Why couldnt they put him on their
practise squad for 1 year so he can improve.. I do agree the
Giants would benefit with Miguel as a backup, for now !!

Maybe he couldn't block...didn't catch well, wasn't what they
were looking for on special teams...there could be a thousand
reasons why they let him go.

I really hope Miguel gets another shot in the NFL. I said all
along he was a little small for the NFL but just by putting 10
more pounds of muscle on would go a long ways. I noticed 220 to
235 is the ideal weight for am NFL RB these days !!!

Let's hope he had a good workout because I just read the
following...
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Colts running back Vick
Ballard is out for the season after suffering a knee injury in
practice Thursday.
