Chrissy ... From what i've been reading. the eagles got an
opportunity to bring in another Vet running back, felix Jones..
Thats why they dumped maysonet even though the insiders were
high on him.. hence the large sign on bonus.. I really hope a
local team signs this kid on. He went through enough cra%#p
already and deserves a shot !!

There doesn't appear to be much room in the RB position for the
Giants !!!!!

I did not understand this portion of Cimini's blog, which was
supposed to explain why Maysonet did not work out with Eagles
"By NCAA rule, Maysonet wasn't allowed to participate in last
week's OTAs because his class at Stony Brook still hasn't
graduated. He took part in a three-day rookie minicamp almost
two weeks ago, and that was it."
It would seem that many 2013 grads would get caught up by this
rule. and why would the NCAA be able to tell seniors, who have
used up all their eligibility, that they can not participate in
NFL OTAs. does not make sense.

From what I've been reading lately many Athletes are affected by
this NCAA rule and it's causing a lot of problems.. SB Grads
apparently graduate later then some other schools so potential
Football athletes would be affected like Miguel was... I never
heard of this before but after reading some other NFL teams
news, other UDFA athletes are in the same boat and must wait
before they can practise with Veterans from their new
team!!........... How i see it these kids are done with school
so why is the NCAA still involved? I don't have the answer !!

I also heard on ESPN the NFL wants to change the Draft from
April to May, making the OTA later ... That should solve all the
problems with student athletes graduation issues and the NCAA
Bologna rule!!!!

like may 15th, and then the year after its like may 6th or

The Browns have 6 running backs. Why would they want him. I
really hope they don't pull his chain like the Eagles did.... I
guess this is what happens when you don't get drafted but sign
on as a UDFA!!
