SBU wins. Tyler Johnson is the true ACE!!!!!!! He had to get
four outs in the last inning
I believe Stony Brook could win tomorrow. Tomorrow should be a
       big day

hey guys just back in and saw the bad and then good news- LSU is
of course a formidable opponent, and it sounds like the Canines
are giving the Felines all they can handle. Cmon SBU, shock the
       world!

This is just "woulda, coulda, shoulda," but if not for that dang
bullpen mound along the left field line, Goldstein would have
ended the game for us yesterday and we would be on our way to
the Big O. Hopefully that will motivate the boys to wrap it up
       tomorrow.

ry1nik... That has been on my mind since the second game ended.
We had this. If he would've caught that 2-out foul ball they
would be in Omaha right now.... But this is baseball. Tomorrow
is going to be a huge day. The bright side of all this is that
we get more TV exposure, and we can still get to Omaha with a
       WIN.
I think we can all agree that SBU has outplayed LSU in BOTH
games... They can do it again tomorrow.
P.S: If any of you have free time, check out the tigerdroppings
fan site. The LSU fans are literally going nuts.... LOL...

Great win ! Im watching the Arizona -St Johns game and they
keep posting our score at the bottom SBU 3 LSU 1. Even the
announcers are calling us a legit top program now.

Good point e....I guess we ought to see the bright side and
       appreciate the additional TV exposure.
If the CAA needed any more motivation to lure SBU from the AE,
       this is it!

I just have a gut feel we can pull this off tomorrow . The LSU
players looked stunned this afternoon -like this wasnt in the
script. We are just a tough mental team loaded with talent.
Johnsons performance today against their ace was superb. We are
the better team right now in Baton Rouge.

Go Wolves. Shock the world on Sunday. Just spent some time on
Tiger Droppings and many ( not all ) of the LSU fans on that
sight display no class whatsoever. It is one thing to bemoan
your own team's failures instead of crediting the opponent, but
to call the opponent a variety of profane names and advocate
intentionally throwing at people is ridiculous. The people who
applauded McNitt yesterday are hopefully more indicative of the
fan base. But I have my doubts.

       Congrats on the win wolves.
That was the 1st postseason game we ever lost in the New Box.
Ignore what goes on at TigerDroppings.
That place is a cesspool that even LSU fans hate.
It's by far the most classless and juvenile collection of Tiger
       fans on the planet.
You guys have outplayed us the whole way through so far.
I'm hopeful that we're the one dog piling tomorrow, but with us
starting Eades, who knows what will happen.

So last summer in the Cape Cod League Pat Cantwell was the
catcher for LSU's starting pitcher tomorrow Ryan Eades. Have to
think our guys will have a pretty good idea of what he'll be
throwing. Eades is no pushover, he was the pitcher of the year
in the Cape last summer, but he does give up more hits and walks
       than LSU's #1 and 2 starters. I think we'll put up runs
tomorrow, and the game will come down to how our bull pen
       performs.
