If it happens, word is going to get out fairly quickly. Last
week the Southern Conference president told reporters that
Yeager was speaking to some of their conference members, most
likely Davidson, College of Charleston, possibly Furman and
Elon. The America East commissioner refused to answer when asked
if she had been approached by Yeager, but Yeager is making moves
now. I don't think it'll take long for information to leak out
if there is any information to leak.

So from the press release just published looks like the
guessing is about to end if we are indeed going into the CCA
as football only program or all sports.

Tom Yeager from the CAA said announcements will be made in the
upcoming weeks. So we just have to wait and see what will
happen.

ClickClack welcome to Suffolk County from your abode in the
State Capital. Either way if we wind up in the CAA for
football or stay in the Big South we will be watching games down
South. Before you ask i dont know what to make of the now
infamous July 5th tweet or the extended silence from the CAA.
All kinds of possibilities for sure.
1- SBU and Albany to the CAA for football only thats
pretty cool.
2- Maybe , just maybe Maine and UNH bolted for all
sports in the CAA- see the demise of the AE rather quickly since
BU left.
3-SBU was blocked all around and we continue to play
football in the Big South until that league folds when Liberty
and or Coastal find new homes as they both have advertised.
4 SBU to the CAA for football but without Maine and
UNH in the AE we need a new home for basketball, lacrosse etc.
The list could go on. Really interesting times , who said
only the Big Boys have these problems-LOL I give it until August
15th for any announcement out of the CAA .
That tweet can cover alot of frustration from our AD.
Anyway Albany posters are always welcome in my book on our
humble board.

Time will tell where we wind up for sure. If we do another 3
or 4 years in the Big South so be it. Next few weeks will be
interesting .
