I agree that's a bad split of home and away. I will say it
again L.I. is the hot bed for lacrosse and they need to market
the program better. You do that by giving the fans a chance to
come out and watch. Top programs do not play 10 road gms. The
best move football made was pushing back start times to 6pm to
allow fans with kids who play their sports in the afternoon time
to attend. Nagel has done most things well but as far as
marketing his program and making it fan friendly he has done a
       bad job with that.

10 on the road this year means 10 at home next year, assuming we
don't lose UVA...that's how it goes. It's Nagel's first year
that he really had time to get involved in the schedule. Love
it or hate it, it is better than the 12 game schedule Sowell had
in his last year and the 14 game schedule we had last year.
I'll take 16 games with 2 against the ACC.

       Stony Brook Men's Lacrosse
Come down and support the team at our second Red & White
       Scrimmage at 12pm!
It was nice of them to let everyone know 40 minutes before the
       scrimmage....

What do you expect from Nagel, I have said it before he does not
       promote his program.

it's so true..maybe he is a great recruiter, and time will tell
on that but can you have some excitment about your team? At
the least welcome your incomming class with a press realease.
The only reason you wouldn't do that is if you still think their
will be more cuts. You got coaches from the ACC and Big East
tweeting about their teams and players and you never even hear a
peep out of Nagel. He is like the anti Fiore.

Agreed. He is doing a great disservice to the program by not
keeping fans and alumni up to speed. Someone in the athletic
department needs to look into this. I think Sam Kornhauser is
the "Director of Athletic Advancement and Alumni Relations" over
       there.

Get him enrolled in a sports PR progarm somewhere. We are
halfway through October time to start pushing our lax team,
       Febuary isnt that far off.

Another week has passed with radio silence from the coach.
Sell the program Nagel....take a page out of the Pikiell,
Priore, and Spallina books...Fiore can't be excited about how
       vanilla he is.
