Ok i didnt see much- because i got there a bit late, and some
guys wore blank jerseys. Plus there's like 19 new faces, half
the team.
Disclaimer- its fall, its early, freshmen just showed up, i dont
know who is who, and they are playing themselves. So please
take with a few grains of salt...
On the whole, shooting needs some work, which was expected with
so much scoring departed (Bellando too). I think Rooney was
inactive. On the flipside, goaltending was fantastic, the
highlight of the day (Shaughnessy and McGushin). Tundo was his
usual self, loves to handle the ball. Kyle Zorn is back and
carried the ball often. I think i saw Duddy with a lot of
carrying as well.
Greene is back which is a relief, because we graduated two
starters on defense (and i think two goalies as well). This
team has size, every year it seems they are bigger. Cerasi
played a lot of d mid which i expect since Laverne graduated,
after a brilliant four years manning that post. I wonder where
they will put Andreassi this year, as he seems to be able to
play anywhere they need a shorty.
Now on to the freshmen. Challen Rogers is impossible to miss,
and, he has the ball every single shift. From BC, he is built
like Crowley. I didnt see Eastwood but word is he is as
advertised- lefty, plays in tight and catches everything.
Perhaps he becomes a crease finisher. Maybe they are the next
McBride/Crowley combo??? :-\ I think Jay Lindsay was facing
off and doing really well.
A guess at some of the new #s (please correct!):
Rogers 25
Sbarglia 50
Wood 54
Sorry that list is so short!

I saw a #53 playing inside a lot- a big physical type- perhaps
that was Eastwood?

10 road games, 6 at home. AE tourney, should we make it, is at
home.
Note we normally rotate home and away with all AE teams, and
this year we were way at BC, UA, and Bingo. That's been
changed, as we are away at BC again this year.

Looks like we added two games which makes sense since I don't
believe we are playing any Fall Ball games. That is the Duke
model.
Add - Maryland, Lafayette, Rutgers, Sacred Heart
Lose - Towson & Deleware (new football rivals)
