Joey isnt that figure though ALL lacrosse, meaning women's and
men's? Hof women's is a big expenditure- not that ours isnt-
but think about it. Travel budget, secretary, asst coaches,
grad assistants, equipment, it all adds up.

Yeah...that could be all in, but I assume Woman’s Lax will now
grow with Joey Spallina at the helm.
Speaking of Hofstra....was a bit surprised they hired Shannon
Smith...great player, from LI but not sure how she will be as a
       recruiter at 22.

One thing you have to take into account is the cost of
scholarships. Stony Brook has one of the best price tags in the
country and so giving out their 12.6 men's lacrosse scholarships
cost the athletic department something like 375,000$ less than
their private counter parts. If you add that to the total Stony
Brook jumps to 15. If that total includes women's lacrosse,
Stony Brook is saving another 360,000$ in scholarship money and
would likely be somewhere around 10th in the country.
If you take scholarships out of the operating budget, Stony
Brook's lax spending is comparable or better than most schools
       in the country.

I wouldnt know. Either way, sucks for us.
What i can tell you is this- if he departs, there will no doubt
be a gap- but also that if you look at some of the talent that
Nagle has secured, we wont be down for long. Sure, its looking
like we will be starting some freshmen next year, and thats
tough. You can expect sometimes a freshman will play like a
veteran at this level, but if you are relying on 3-4 freshmen to
get by, i dont think any team is that lucky. :-\
On attack, Rooney is back. But otherwise, we might have a few
more young guys out there. I was suggesting the possibility of
Tundo or even Andreassi going back there, as they have played
       there before.
At mid, other than Tundo (see above), who is our new goto guy?
Duddy? I again see new faces on the field here.
Faceoffs? Most likely will see a new face!
Defense? Does Greene return? Judge is likely a starter.
Otherwise, we might see at least one new face, maybe two!
Im not saying these guys wont get the job done- im saying, when
you have to play so much youth, you may get some rookie
mistakes. Throwing passes away, stepping offsides, mental
       errors, etc. Thats all.
