I do like the shot clock rule but that all depends on how fast
the ref calls a stall warning. Once that is called then you have
the 30 seconds to shoot. I think it goes both ways some teams
have made a living on stalling cause of lack of fire power and
some teams run really good offensive sets by slowing down a bit.
Chairman can answer this better than me cause he played defense,
but I think sometimes defenses played into the stalling by not
being aggressive enough on the ball just sitting back and
waiting. I think it should help though.

Yep thats true. So that gave up the obvious- the outside shot.
But no one takes them anymore. Two reasons- sticks are all
effed up with baggy pockets, and two, its becoming a lost art at
certain levels because coaches want kids taking the high % shot
inside.

Sucks about Lindsay....I was hoping he was going to be the
answer at face-off.
It's nice that stony brook put out a press release but it is all
rehashed quotes. Nothing new and I'm going to wait until Sunday
to see who starts.

Sure wish if they were going to cancel or postpone Sunday's
game, someone would make the call early. 2 ft here, 3 ft across
the Sound.

Newsday has a ton of lacrosse coverage today...full page each on
USB and Hofstra for both men and woman.
The SB one focuses on Rooney beeing the QB of the team as he was
an all county QB at East Islip.
The article does say Shaughnessy will start in the cage, which
is not surprising since the is a Nagle recurit. It also says
Smith or Lucatuorto will take the draws. Hopefully Andressi and
Laforet can stick to their day jobs this year.
F Nemo...no way I can make the game tomorrow. Chris D, can you
take good notes...Ha!!!
