Good fans you are. Buying the stock when its low, because its
       going up!
Listened to the sports section last night (thanks eCasa),
despite my technological shortcomings. Nagle, as predicted,
played it very close to the vest. He talked about depth and
running a lot of players this year. Also sounded like he is
       running the same offense scheme.

A quick conference breakdown, no particular order:
UA: Resetarits gone. Moves Lyle Thompson to attack, meaning all
three Thompsons are on attack, and should be lethal. Headache
for close defenses. That however does leave the midfield to a
large underclass or new faces. Freshman goalie Riordan to
start. The strength of this team should be in the attack, but i
have a feeling the d-mid line will be good. I expect Stenberg
and Fuller to run o-mid. They will be in the AE finals at the
least. Big class coming in and ive heard good things about the
kids from Victor and Salmon River, perhaps they play mid in
       2012.
BC: defense suspect at the end of 2012. Somehow beat MD early
in March at home. Scoring and feeding all comes from midfield
(opposite look of Albany). Entire offense returns, except for
Grimm. Experienced offense, lose only one defenseman. Couldnt
contain Jones last year. Huge class coming in, i dont know much
about them as they draw heavily off the MD/VA area.
VT: big loss in goalie Barton, and in Worley, the teams only
feeder. Rest of offense returns; whole defense returns. VT has
chipped closer to SB over the years. The O really struggled at
times in 2012. Philie a potential PoY. For some reason, 21
commitments- from just about everywhere in the NE. Six of which
are D1 transfers, some of which i predict will contribute at
       attack.
HU: an unfortunate graduation of most of the offense all at
once. Team puts up big #s, but only played well three times
(Denver loss, Brown win, SB win). Gaudy #s against suspect
defense. O'Shea will start at attack, perhaps with newcomers?
Nunamacher and Franze are stars at midfield, two way mids if i
remember right. Most of the d-mids return too. They lose
Knapton on defense and Bement in cage. I am expecting a dropoff
this year, unless the four transfers on offense step up right
away. They also bring in a couple of Canucks which have
       historically done well at HU.
BU: a once proud defensive tradition struggled in 2012.
Undersized on offense. Most of offense returns, biggest loss is
Waldron on defense. Marra graduates from the cage but i think
Nesdale is the next in line. Like BC, all feeding comes from
midfield, so i expect that to be the teams strength (Antinozzi,
Perrelle, Hauck). Coach hit the island hard- really hard- for
recruits, and came up with a handful from great programs. I
think a youthful team in 2012 comes of age this year. I expect
them to outperform and finish fourth, maybe fifth.

I didn't realize we only return 3 starters from last season. I
think the offense should be OK with Tundo and Rooney. No idea
what to expect from the rest of the team.

Chairman when I went last week to p/u my tickets they had a meet
and greet with the team and Lindsay wasn't there. I thought
maybe he was at class, cause Judge was missing also. When they
introduced themselves Zach Smith did say he was a f/o
specialist. Also Cerasi will play defense.

Guys...inside lacrosse is a Hopkins loving joke. I'm shocked
they actually got a few quotes from Nagle on Schultz and
Andressi but agani they were the only 2 players on the roster
the past two years that inside lacrosse ranked in their top 100
incoming freshman. Of course neither was originally committed
to the Brook, as Schultz verbaled to Cornell and Andressi
enrolled at UMass. I get the sense when they mentioned Zach
Smith as a middy they ment to say Conner Duddy. Also, I'm
assuming Lindsay was an oversight because when we chatted with
Andressi at homecoming he mentioned he was taking all the
faceoffs. Also coach had him on the roster that he just
submitted in Dec. They mentioned the Ward Melville kid at f/o
because they have ins at Meville as most of those kids go ivy or
acc. Anyway, we will know everything in a few weeks. Here's to
       the 2013 America East Champs.
Dont believe everything you read in Inside Lacrosse, unless you
       are a Hop fan.

Youve got it right JW- in fact, i think they have Millican
listed as a sophomore. Is that even in dispute? How much
       research could that take?
Zach Smith is an athlete- he can play dmid, pickup GBs, run wing
on faceoff, take the faceoff, perhaps even be a clearing middie
or man down. I did notice that Duddy was missing from the
       offensive picture.
Bellando to Cortland- he'll fit right in the system up there:

Chrissy- Cerasi on close d, or short stick d?
       3 more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cerasi said he was on defense, and that's what it say's on the
roster. But he did play that def middie short stick roll last
year, so maybe that's what he meant. We will see in a couple of
       weeks.

Its true, he's listed on the roster as defense:

Ok so that may change some things... maybe we see more Harris
with a shorty, im assuming Greene and Judge still on defense,
Coach said Lynott/Monzo/Ferreira impressed, however, Ferreira im
       guessing could be an LSM...
