I agree...this year will be similar to last year. We wil be
better at F/O but unproven in goal. Let's hope we can win a few
of those one goal games this year.

Record would have been much different if those one goal gms
went our way. Also although there are a lot of new faces, we
have more than 2 guys coming back that contributed last year.
Besides Tundo and Rooney you have guys like Cerasi, Milican,
Judge, Andreassi, Lafforet who started or played major minutes
last year. Savaghn Greene was a starter 2yrs ago before injury.
With that said lax is one sport were freshman can come in and
contribute right away. I feel that they can easily flip last
years record if the goal tending situation is solid.

Me too agreed on all points.
Also, sometimes with coaching changes it just takes an
adjustment period. They like to install their own schemes,
bring in their own players, staff, get accustomed to the U and
the athletic dept. The first year, then, is sometimes a "work
with what you have" interim, and then you start the transition.
Its almost like it has to get worse before it gets better.
I have faith. They will improve. Besides, its not like they
stayed home last May!!!

hosting Fairfield, only 5 weeks away!!!!

Yup 5 weeks for mens lax and baseball right behind them. I
think we make some noise in lacrosse again this year and the
schedule is loaded with upset possibilities - Virginia, Maryland
etc. I plan to make a few home games to cheer them on.

Yes, can't wait for the season to get under way too !!!
Pre-season sessions start January 9th and I do believe the boys
have their first taste of action on the 2nd of February
with an exhibition game at Villanova ....

One warmup and right into it. That seems to be the way it is
now. I remember starting games in early March, not early Feb!!!

We saw Mike at homecoming...he did mention that Tyler's first
love was football and that he went to some crazy football camp
in Texas last summer but as a few months ago he was still
committed to SBU lax. Of course if he got the right football
ride everything could change. Tyler did make 1st team all LI as
an LB this year.
