Don't really know what the deal is w/roster size. I would
think it has to do with grant money and scholarships. I know
teams loke Maryland has 60 kids on roster and only dress like
35. I think a school like MD can get kids to go there w/out any
grant money. I think if Stony Brook wants a recruit then they
have to provide some sort of financial relief and thus the
smaller roster.

Watching how good Lynott and Ferreira are doing, id have to
think they are gonna contribute next year, esp since we are
graduating two defensemen. Its going to be difficult to replace
Moeller (see below), but these kids i think can do it right
away. Ferreira of course, more likely at pole, and Lynott more
likely at close, at least based on their HS games.

So some bad news... we heard there would be cuts, and this
customarily happens within a year of a new staff. Heard they
lost Diggle, Wawrzyniak, Watson, Smith, Pelella, Scalera, and
Zorn. Sucks.
As always, if anyone has better information, please chime in.

Where did you hear about these cuts? I would suspect that
after fall ball there will be more. Kinda suprised about Watson.
Scalera and Jak W. I thought would come back. Maybe were
getting some tranfers that will play right away. Hate to see
kids get cut but they really needed to upgrade talent on the
roster. Should be interesting.

Sucks about Jak and Watson but you know they were never Nagle
guys. Smith and Pelella were there to FOGO and couldn't get on
the field so those cuts were not surprising. I'm actually
surprised Diggle stayed with the team all season as a RS...seems
like a waste o time for him. Scalera semed to get caught in a
#'s game. JJ and Harris got most of the pole run this year and
Ferreira is on his way in. Zorn jsut didn't get into the
rotation.
Gotta think Schultz is starting from day one. If not why would
you cut Watson. I wonder who will be the 3rd Middy behind Tundo
and Andreassi? Would love to get another Bonanno type transfer
in.

Duddy was on 2nd mid line w/Andreassi, maybe he moves up but
something tells me that Nagle is not done tweeking this roster.

Seems we are taking care of the faceoff situation head-on. In
the last few months, Nagle has signed or secured a verbal from:
Lucatuorto '16, Lindsay '16, Rowe '17, and Calvagna '18. Kyle
Rowe may be the best of them, but its so hard to tell at this
point.
And Ferreira '16 can faceoff too.
