are now gone, and the only offer that I know of that's pending
is Riley Dunn. Can't tell what the chances are of landing him,
and certainly don't know whether he would just turn out to be
another project. We need Coach Hipsher to pull another
international rabbit out of his hat.

That was the problem last year. No interior scoring or defense.
Somehow need to recruit a minimum of 60 minutes a game of both
       for next year.

i feel like i say the same thing every year. go get more bigs.
its the CAA; you dont need 7 footers. 6'8'' will do. go sign 5
       and hope 2 work out.

Any thoughts on the Seawolves new pick-up (Jaden Daughtry) from
Richmond? Apparently only one year of eligibility left, and not
a big-time scorer. BUT: looks like he can certainly be a shot
       of adrenalin around the basket!

6'7" forward with pretty good numbers and coming from a better
conference...I think I'm happy with that.

Gorman, O'Conner, Simmon, Butler, and Valentiny all seem to be
coming back. There was no way Shosh was coming back and Goods
seemed to disappear towards the end of last season, so this
seems like the best reasonable outcome we could have hoped for.
I like the foundation and I think Simmon will make a good
day-one starter, and I like Butler and Valentiny off the bench.
I think so far there is one freshman commit (Kasen Daeger), and
from what little I've read, there is reason to be optimistic
about his ability to contribute next year, and you could never
       have enough 3-point shooters.
I guess now the goal is to fill up the roster with some post
players either through the portal or overseas.

Goods going to USF with Shosh surprises me. There's no way he
can work at that level, right?

Glad to see that Daughtry’s a done deal. Seemingly awesome first
       signing.
They talk up his shooting and rightfully so – he was led the MVC
in FG% while at Indiana State – but he looks like a guy who can
use his width to score inside, can put it on the floor, and he’s
a good screener who can roll or pop and knock down the outside
shot. He was diagnosed with a heart condition but nevertheless
was a good piece off the bench for UR last year.

Morris Ugusuk, G, previously of West Virginia and South
Carolina, is a Seawolf. He appears to be mostly a spot-up
shooter. That he played more than 22 minutes a night in the SEC
for the Gamecocks and had some notable nights – 20 at Vandy, 18
at then-ranked Indiana – is encouraging but then he played very
sparingly for the Mountaineers. At our level, I have to think
he'll be a rotational guy at the very least. I'm on board with
       this one too.
