Watching the last two games up close and in person, SBU suddenly
appears quite small. Almost like they're shrinking and losing
weight compared to the Hofstra and Towson lineups. They give a
good effort, but boy if they don't make A LOT of threes they
just don't have many other avenues to get wins.

this sums it all up. we play a team with real bigs (like when
we used to play Vermont), and if Goods needs a breather or isnt
the right matchup, the depth falls off and we are exposed. go
       get more Goods-type players.
why did we play small ball against towson?
aside, in the second half, only 2 assists (8 in the first half),
and thus shooting falls down (2/14 from three, after 8/15) and
we get blown out in the second.

I strongly suspect Goods and Shosh are one-and-done here. I
heard big money for the former, big big money for the latter.
It's hard to stand in the way of them, and it's unfortunate that
we aren't likely able to keep up with the joneses. BUT ... Geno
and Co. did find some great talent themselves, namely those two,
Pratt and Brown. Just gotta keep on doing it.

Goods hasn't help his cause with his weak play down the stretch.
Very coincidental with his "signing with an agency". I think
the question is whether we want to keep Shosh or Collin. Don't
think we can afford both, and even if we could, they'd probably
step all over each other with playing time and role. Brown was
a major disappointment IMO, with some occasional flashes of
shooting brilliance. Pratt was a one in a million find.
Whether Geno can find another Pratt remains to be seen.

I actually have liked RBIII a lot. He took a while to heat up,
but he ended up shooting almost 39 percent from three during
conference play. I thought he was a plus defender too.
I believe O'Connor is locked in for another year here – some
contractual setup. Bill Simmons was calling for better nicknames
rather than just initials, initials involving jersey numbers, et
al, a la the above. I got to thinking that "Nutty" would roll
off the tongue easily and tie into his Irish name and the
       popular LI establishment.
